Details of Sneakers Production Process

The process of producing sneakers is quite complicated. Each pair of shoes goes through many steps to ensure quality before reaching the buyer.

Design!

Based on the collected data used to create design ideas. Shoe design steps may include:

1. Sketching paper designs

2. Uploading to 3D models for detailed design

3. Creating actual molds of wood, plastic or metal to modify details to fit the actual shape and size of the foot.

4. Creating flat models based on the actual molds.

Prepare Ingredients

1. The uppers of Celidior sneakers are mainly made of textiles, mesh, natural leather, synthetic leather, suede, or recycled polyester.
2. Sneakers at Celidior usually have Rubber, PVC, PU, EVA, thermoplastic rubber soles designed to provide traction and cushioning.
3. The raw materials used to make sneakers are strictly checked because they directly determine the quality and design of the product. Only materials that meet the standards are put into production.

Cutting, Stamping, and Sewing Shoe Uppers

1. Cutting:
The shoemaker will cut the shoe parts using a hydraulic press. Each shoe part requires its own cutting die.
2. Stamping:
After cutting, the shoemaker will carefully arrange and stack the parts on top of each other. The stamper will mark the locations where the holes need to be punched.
3. Sewing:
In this stage, the shoemaker sews the cut parts together. But before sewing, the parts are usually glued together at the edges to hold them in place.
The seamstress assembles the outer shell, inner lining, and tongue. They also add reinforcements, hardware, lace rings, and padding to the collar. Finally, the decorative details are sewn on.

Cutting Rubber Shoe Soles According to Mold

In the shoe last manufacturing process, the sole material is cut into different sized pieces according to a mold. The sole consists of three layers, including the insole, midsole, and outsole.
Some sneakers may need shanks to reinforce the sole and support the foot. Shanks are made from plastic, Kevlar, fiberglass, and steel and give the shoe its shape.
After cutting, the layers are glued together to form the complete sole.

Assembling the Shoe Cap onto the Shoe Sole

1. Before assembling the product, it is necessary to make sure that these parts match the design. Then, the craftsman will shape the shoe upper according to the actual mold so that it has the same shape as the human foot.
2. After fixing the shoe upper on the mold, the shoe sole will be attached to the upper by cold sole gluing or hot vulcanization. Hot vulcanization helps the sticky natural rubber to change its texture into a three-dimensional structure that is durable and can be molded.
3. Then, the heel edge and outsole are rubbed. The border is covered or decorated. The toe and heel are reinforced.

Finished Product Quality Control

The quality inspection of finished shoes must comply with standard principles and procedures, including the following steps:

1. Packaging inspection

2. Shoe inspection

3. Inspect the upper and sole

4. Rear inspection

5. Inspect the back and heel height
